Job summary

A. P. Moller - Maersk Group in Singapore is hiring a Prime Mover Driver to support container movements across port facilities. You will perform collection and delivery, ensuring safe handling of containers and adherence to rosters.

The role requires maintaining vehicle safety through daily checks, complying with regulations, and reporting faults promptly. You will work according to the operations roster and participate in company initiatives and incentives as part of a dynamic logistics team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–4 years of Prime Mover driving experience in Singapore.
• Must possess a valid Class 4 or Class 5 Singapore driving license.
• Familiar with Singapore roads and PSA Terminal Port operations.

Responsibilities

• Collection, delivery, shifting of containers.
• Ensure containers are loaded safely and securely on the trailer.
• Retrieve shipments from clearance agents, perform customs clearance, and route shipments to distribution centres.
• Comply with regulations and company procedures.
• Carry out daily checks to ensure vehicle road-worthiness and report faults to the supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by Transport Supervisor/Manager.

Responsibilities

• Collection, delivery, shifting of containers


• To ensure that containers are loaded in a safe and secure manner on the trailer


• Retrieve shipments from clearance agents at port, conduct custom clearance of shipments, scan and send shipments back to distribution centres


• Compliance to all regulations or company procedures strictly.


• Carry out daily checks to ensure vehicle's road worthiness before use and maintain vehicle and report any faults immediately to the supervisor for rectifications.


• Other duties as assigned by Transport Supervisor/Manager

Requirements

• Minimum 1-4 years of relevant experience as a Prime Mover Driver in Singapore


• Possess a valid Class 4/ Class 5 Singapore Driving License


• Good & Clean driving safety records


• Familiar with Singapore roads / PSA Terminal Port
