Job summary

Kelington Engineering (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Scheduler / Planning Engineer to develop and maintain detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and recover delays to meet milestones on engineering projects.

Candidates with Primavera P6 expertise and experience in semiconductor Fab construction or high-tech manufacturing projects are highly preferred; travel to sites abroad may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Must be well-versed in Primavera P6.
• Good knowledge of project planning, scheduling, critical path analysis and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare project baseline schedules, look-ahead schedules and periodic schedule updates.
• Monitor actual progress against the approved baseline and identify schedule variances.
• Track critical path activities, key milestones and project deliverables.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Construction teams, subcontractors and other stakeholders to obtain accurate progress updates.
• Analyse schedule performance and highlight potential delays, risks and areas requiring attention.
• Prepare recovery schedules and support the project team in developing mitigation plans for schedule delays.
• Review subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with the overall project schedule.
• Prepare weekly and monthly planning and progress reports.
• Participate in project planning and coordination meetings and provide schedule updates.
• Maintain proper records of schedule revisions, progress and changes.
• Support project management in schedule impact analysis and project planning activities.
• Perform other related planning and scheduling duties as assigned.
