Job summary

WSH Experts Pte Ltd seeks a part-time Science Laboratory Operations assistant to set up two science laboratories on separate floors for lessons and practical examinations. You will procure and prepare materials according to lesson requirements and schedule lab use for teachers and classes.

You will also manage science resources, assist with safety during practical lessons, coordinate science-related programmes, and tend aquaponics and garden areas tied to science teaching.

• Procure and prepare materials according to the lesson requirements
• Schedule the use of the science laboratories by teachers and classes
• Manage dissemination of teaching resources to science teachers
• Catalogue science resources such as laboratory inventory and teaching materials
• Support teachers during science practical lessons to ensure laboratory safety
• Assist teachers to coordinate science-related programmes such as science performance task assessments and Science Fair
• Occasionally tend the school aquaponics and gardens, especially plants related to science teaching
• Other duties as assigned by the Authority

Science Laboratory Operations (Part-time

Set up the two science laboratories which are on separate floors for

lessons and science practical examinations

Procure and prepare materials according to the lesson requirements.

These lessons also include science-related school modules

conducted each term across four levels. This is in addition to the

lessons and performance tasks in the science curriculum,

environmental science club activities as well as the weekly Science

E2K enrichment programme.

Schedule the use of the two science laboratories by the teachers and

classes

Manage the dissemination of teaching resources to science subject

teachers

Catalogue all science resources such as laboratory inventory and

teaching materials

Support teachers during Science practical lessons to ensure

laboratory safety is not compromised

Assist teachers to coordinate and manage science-related

programmes such as science performance task assessments,

Science Fair, etc.

Occasional tending of the school aquaponics and gardens, in

particular, the plants related to the teaching of Science

Other duties as assigned by the Authority
