Schoolwerks Education Centre is seeking a Primary English, Math & Science Teacher to deliver the Singapore MOE curriculum for Primary 1–5. The role is full-time, based in Hougang / Yishun, with a 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM schedule across five days.

You will create engaging, student-centred lessons, assess progress, and communicate with parents while collaborating with colleagues. NIE-trained teachers or MOE-experienced candidates have an added advantage; fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Math/Science or Education-related field.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• NIE-trained or MOE teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach English, Mathematics and Science to Primary 1–5 per Singapore MOE curriculum.

About the role

Schoolwerks Education Centre is seeking a Primary English, Math & Science Teacher to teach Primary 1–5 students based on the Singapore MOE curriculum. This is a full-time position located in Hougang / Yishun, Singapore, working 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM across a 5-day work week (4 weekdays and 1 compulsory weekend).

Key responsibilities

• Teach Primary 1–5 English, Mathematics and Science based on the Singapore MOE curriculum

• Deliver engaging, student-centred lessons that encourage critical thinking and active participation

• Prepare and conduct lessons using Schoolwerks' curriculum and teaching resources

• Mark assignments, quizzes and assessments, and provide meaningful feedback to students

• Monitor students' academic progress and identify areas for improvement

• Communicate professionally with parents regarding students' learning progress

• Participate in curriculum planning, teacher meetings and professional development sessions

• Contribute to the development of worksheets, lesson materials and academic programmes

About you

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Math or Science discipline or Education related certifications

• Strong command of spoken and written English

• Passion for teaching and nurturing young learners

• Good classroom management and communication skills

• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a collaborative mindset

• NIE-trained teachers and candidates with MOE teaching experience have an added advantage
