Job Description & Requirements

Position: Primary/Secondary Science Teacher

Key Responsibilities

Teaching:Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus or international standards. Develop students’ scientific knowledge, inquiry skills, critical thinking, and understanding of scientific concepts through interactive and practical learning activities.

Assessment:Design tests, assignments, practical activities, and other assessments to evaluate student learning. Track student progress, provide timely feedback, identify learning gaps, and maintain accurate academic records.

EduTrust Compliance:Strictly record daily attendance and follow up on absenteeism. Maintain comprehensive archives of lesson plans, assessments, student records, and relevant teaching documentation to ensure readiness for audits. Assist with EduTrust certification audits and quality assurance reviews. Adhere strictly to student welfare, safety, and protection policies.

Communication:Regularly update parents on student performance, learning progress, and areas for improvement. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support students’ academic and holistic development.

Requirements
