Job summary

KEYNOTE LEARNING HUB PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Full-time English Tutor to teach English to groups of 3–13 students, covering PSLE and O-Level syllabi. Responsibilities include marking homework, giving feedback on compositions, communicating with parents, and recording lessons.

The role requires a degree with strong English results and 3–5 years of tutoring experience, plus proficiency with Word, PDF and PowerPoint. Hybrid teaching (online and onsite) is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree with strong English knowledge and good O/A Level/GP results.
• Experience tutoring, preferably in group settings.
• Proficiency in basic software tools used for teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach English language classes to groups of 3–13 students.
• Serve students from Primary 3 to Secondary 4; align with PSLE/O Level syllabi.
• Mark online PDFs and physical homework; provide feedback on compositions and writing.
• Communicate with parents on student progress; record lessons and edit materials.
• Contribute to webinars, perform video recordings, and assist welfare of students.
• Deliver lessons in a hybrid model (online and onsite).
• Willing to take O Level English as a private candidate if needed.

Job description

Tuition Centre in Ang Mo Kio requires Full time English Tutor:

• Degree with good O/A Level English/GP Result
• 3 - 5 years of tutoring experience, preferably in group settings
• Technical skills and competencies: Proficient in Word, PDF, Powerpoint

In this role, you will be required to:

• Teach English Language classes of around 3 to 13 students
• Students range from Primary 3 to Secondary 4 level
• Be familiar with PSLE and O Level syllabus
• Mark online PDF homework and physical homework
• Provide useful feedback for compositions and situational writing according to centre’s system when marking
• Communicate with parents for timely feedback to help students improve
• Do video recording of lessons
• Look after the well-being and welfare of the company’s students
• Conduct Lessons Hybrid (online and onsite)
• Comfortable to Co-Conduct Webinars and appear in Tik Tok/ Face book videos
• Edit Lesson materials
• Willing to take O Level English exam as a Private Candidate

Work hours:

4 Weekdays (12.45pm to 9.15pm) and 1 weekend (9am to 7pm)
