Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a pricing analyst to analyse market rates, transportation costs and pricing data to support pricing decisions. You will prepare and support responses for RFQs, tenders and customer pricing requests, and develop pricing solutions based on customer requirements and service needs.

Work with operations, commercial and pricing teams to obtain costs, maintain current freight rates and market data, and provide recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyse market rates, transportation costs and other pricing-related data to support pricing decisions.
• Prepare and support pricing responses for RFQs, tenders and customer pricing requests.
• Develop pricing solutions based on customer requirements, service requirements and operational considerations.
• Maintain current freight rates, pricing information and relevant market data.
• Work with internal stakeholders, including operations, commercial and other pricing teams, to obtain costs and develop competitive pricing solutions.
• Analyse pricing submissions and provide recommendations where required.
• Maintain accurate pricing records and supporting documentation.
• Support pricing activities across relevant trade lanes and markets.
• Monitor market developments and freight rate changes that may impact pricing.
• Flexibility to attend occasional calls outside normal Singapore business hours to collaborate with U.S.-based colleagues and stakeholders, when required.
• Perform other duties and pricing-related analysis as assigned.
