Job summary

Manpower Access Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Chinese Language Teacher for Preschool and Primary levels located in the north of Singapore. You will plan engaging lessons, align with MOE Chinese Language syllabus, and nurture foundational literacy through interactive activities.

You will deliver well-structured instruction, monitor progress, provide feedback to parents, and collaborate with colleagues. A Diploma or Degree in Chinese Language or Education is required, with a passion for nurturing

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Chinese Language, Chinese Studies, Education or related field (equivalent qualifications may be considered).
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken Chinese.
• Basic proficiency in spoken English.
• Knowledge of Singapore MOE Chinese Language syllabus for preschool/primary.
• Passion for teaching and ability to engage young learners.
• Patient, organised and attentive to individual learning needs.
• Good classroom management and communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging Chinese language lessons for Preschool and Primary School students.
• Deliver lessons aligned with MOE syllabus and students' learning levels.
• Teach core language skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary, comprehension, and composition.
• Build foundational literacy for preschool through interactive activities, storytelling, songs, games.
• Strengthen language proficiency and exam readiness for primary students through structured practice.
• Adapt teaching approaches for different abilities and proficiency levels.
• Create a positive, well-managed classroom environment.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching aids, and materials.
• Develop and improve teaching resources in line with MOE syllabus and centre framework.
• Mark students' work, provide feedback, and assign homework/revision exercises.
• Participate in curriculum planning, teaching material development, and assessment prep.
• Monitor progress and communicate with parents; collaborate with colleagues.
