Job summary

PAP Community Foundation is seeking an experienced Centre Director to steer a preschool centre in Singapore. You will shape the centre's direction, align with ECDA frameworks, and lead a team to deliver a high-quality, child-centred curriculum.

You will oversee daily operations, HR, finance and policy implementation while fostering collaboration with cluster schools. A strong background in early childhood education and staff development is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 GCE O Level credits with grade B4 in EL1.
• Diploma/degree in Early Childhood Education/Leadership recognised by ECDA.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a preschool setting.

Responsibilities

• Chart centre direction and align with long-term goals.
• Clarify PCF's mission and values to all staff.
• Set centre goals to garner stakeholder support.
• Lead networking and collaboration among centre schools.
• Oversee day-to-day operations including finance and HR policies.
• Conduct learning needs analyses for professional development.
• Ensure a safe, conducive learning environment for children.
• Monitor student achievement and use data for curriculum improvements.
• Coach and inspire staff to deliver a child-centred curriculum.
• Manage recruitment, orientation, performance appraisals and exits for staff.
