Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking a data architecture leader in Singapore to design scalable data-centric architectures and guide AI/ML deployments across enterprise platforms. You will engage with customers to gather requirements, design end-to-end data/AI solutions, and collaborate with sales for opportunities.

The role requires 4+ years in data architecture with AI/ML exposure, plus experience with analytics tools and cloud data services. Public sector infra exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years designing scalable data-centric architecture, with at least 2 years in AI/ML.
• Experience with Data Analytics Platforms, Data Engineering, Data Visualization & AI/ML deployment.
• Familiarity with Data Platforms & Analytics tools such as Cloudera, Databricks, Tableau, etc; cloud services.
• Familiarity with IM8 Framework for Data governance & security is a plus; public sector infra experience helpful.
• Proven track record managing multi-million dollar projects in government or commercial sectors.
• Possession of certifications such as CDMP, Azure Data Engineer or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand data and AI requirements.
• Design and propose Enterprise Data/AI Platforms with AI/ML tools (data lakes, warehouses, pipelines).
• Conduct product demos and presentations.
• Develop and deliver technical proposals and quotes.
• Collaborate with sales teams to pursue opportunities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products.
• Provide technical support and product positioning.
• Partnership management with key vendors.
• Work with pre-sales from different expertise to create a comprehensive solution.
• Any other duties/projects assigned.

Job description

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience in designing scalable data-centric architecture with at least 2 years on AI/ML
• Experience in Data Analytics Platforms, Data Engineering, Data Visualization & AI/ML adaption and deployment
• Familiarity & Strength with one or more solutions such as:
  Data Platforms & Analytics solutions (Cloudera, Denodo, Databricks, Talend, Tableau, etc),
  AI/ML Tools/Platforms (RunAI, H2O, Hadoop, Spark, etc),
  Cloud Data Services (Azure, AWS, etc),

• Familiarity with IM8 Framework with Data governance & security is a plus and have experiences working in Public Sector Infrastructure
• Proven track record in managing multi-million dollar projects in the government and /or commercial sectors
• Possession of one or more of networking professional certifications such as CDMP, Azure Data Engineer or equivalent

Skill sets:

• Strong in Enterprise Data & architecture design, including SOA architecture, security, best practices and knowledge of emerging trends
• Sales or presales experience
• Passion for infrastructure and strong problem-solving & analytical skills
• Large-scale program management of multi-service line teams, including strong project management and communications skills, service delivery, client relations, planning, scheduling, budgeting, financial management, resource management, quality assurance and situational negotiations
• Good presentation skills, communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills and customer-service orientation
• Hands on, self-directed executive who plans, prepares and executes professionally
• Good team player and able to work on assignment independently
• Ability to prioritize and manage tight deadlines
