Job summary

Rolls-Royce is hiring Tool and Die Shop Technicians in Singapore to support repair, maintenance, and modification of high-temperature dies used in rig operations. The role requires hands-on machining, tooling repair, and precision inspection in a high-performance environment.

Applicants should have 2–5 years of experience in tool and die or precision engineering, with proficiency across CNC machining (preferably 5-axis), EDM, lathe/milling, welding, or polishing.

Qualifications

• NITEC/Higher NITEC/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Hands-on experience in tool and die, machining, or precision engineering environment.
• Experience with 2-3 of CNC machining, EDM, lathe/milling, welding, polishing is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair, refurbishment, and modification of high-temperature dies using appropriate tooling and techniques.
• Operate and maintain a range of equipment including 5-axis CNC machines, EDM, lathe and drilling machines.
• Use hand tools, gauges, fixtures and precision instruments to support die shop operations.
• Conduct geometric inspection and measurement analysis using high-precision inspection equipment.
• Interpret tasks from technical drawings, SOPs, and quality documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain 5S and safety standards.

Education

NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or related field

Wire cutting (EDM)

Lathe or milling operations
