Qualifications

• NITEC / Higher NITEC in Precision Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years working experience in a Precision Engineering environment.
• Basic command of written and spoken English.
• Able to work weekly rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain conventional or CNC machines (Milling, Lathe, Surface Grinding, etc.).
• Set up and maintain measuring equipment, gauges and fixtures for inspection checks.
• Perform simple troubleshooting of machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Maintain shop records and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Notify supervisor of machine or tooling problems affecting quality or safety.
• Engage in additional tasks as directed by the Supervisor.
