Job summary

WAI HEN CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking experienced tilers for on-site installations in Singapore. The role involves cutting, shaping and laying tiles, aligning patterns, and finishing with polishing to ensure durable results.

You will prepare surfaces, apply waterproofing and create mosaic designs in kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces, following blueprints and ensuring precise measurements. Renovation experience is a plus, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Renovation experience is a plus.
Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled outdoor conditions.
Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
Willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

Cut tiles and shape them to fit obstacles and tight spaces using power and hand tools.
Form tile beds with concrete, plaster, cement, glue or mortar.
Align tiles with straightedges, levels and squares for even patterns.
Install and polish granite and marble; ensure accuracy during installation.
Prepare surfaces with waterproofing material before tiling.
Create decorative wall/floor designs with mosaic tiles in kitchens, bathrooms, living areas.
Carefully tap tiles into place to avoid damage.
Follow blueprints to measure surfaces for tiling jobs.
