United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) is expanding its Singapore Fab and seeks an Equipment Engineer to monitor inline SPC issues, maintain equipment capability and collaborate with production teams to optimize tool usage and output.

Ideal candidates have a engineering degree in related fields and are comfortable with shift hours. UMC emphasizes hands-on development, mentorship and career growth within a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electronics/electrical, mechanical, chemical, materials science, physics, aerospace or automation.
• 2+ years semiconductor/foundry experience preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking with good communication and time management.
• Leadership demonstrated through school projects, competitions, or similar experiences is advantageous.
• Willingness to work shift hours as required.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and resolve inline SPC issues, equipment abnormalities, and lot handling promptly.
• Maintain equipment capability and ensure availability to meet production demand.
• Collaborate with production and process teams on tool usage for troubleshooting, maintenance, and output.
• Participate in troubleshooting and quality improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and production outcomes.
• Evaluate new equipment, materials, and retrofits to drive performance gains and production efficiency.
