Job summary

Fu Yu Corporation Ltd is seeking a Precision Machinist to interpret engineering drawings, set up conventional machines, and perform precision fitting and finishing to exact specifications.

You will ensure moulds meet dimensional, functional, and quality standards, inspect with calipers and micrometers, and carry out repairs and preventive maintenance while adhering to 5S and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Familiar with tolerances and QA checks.
• Bilingual in English and another language.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Operate conventional machines, perform precision fitting and finishing.
• Ensure moulds meet dimensional, functional, and quality standards.
• Check dimensions with vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge.
• Read drawings, mould designs, specs and documentation.
• Perform precision machining, fitting, grinding, polishing, drilling, tapping, bench work.
• Carry out mould repairs, modifications and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure mould components are properly fitted, aligned and finished.
• Identify worn or damaged components and recommend replacement or corrective action.
• Report faults and safety concerns to Supervisor; maintain 5S workplace.
