Medtronic Singapore Repair Centre is seeking a skilled technician to service, repair, test, and release precision mechanical and electromechanical surgical instruments in line with approved procedures and quality standards. The role is onsite at the Singapore facility and works with warehouse, logistics, and field service teams to ensure timely repairs and customer commitments.

Suitable candidates will have a Nitec/Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering with 1+ year

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience repairing, assembling, or maintaining precision mechanical or electromechanical equipment.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings, exploded views, assembly instructions, or repair procedures.
• Experience using precision hand tools, torque tools, measurement devices, or diagnostic test equipment.
• Experience documenting work activities and maintaining accurate service records in computerized systems.
• Ability to perform detailed bench-based work involving small components.

Responsabilités

• Disassemble, inspect, clean, and repair powered surgical instruments following procedures.
• Replace wear-and-tear components including bearings, O-rings, springs, dampers, and parts.
• Reassemble instruments using approved tooling, torque specs, and lubrication requirements.
• Perform functional, performance, and safety testing to verify release criteria.
• Document repair activities, test results, and traceability records in enterprise systems.
• Identify and escalate non-conforming devices and quality issues per procedures.
• Support spare parts kitting, inventory accuracy, and material traceability.
• Maintain compliance with Quality Management System and ESD/5S standards.
