Job summary

MENICON SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in Singapore, the first manufacturing facility outside Japan for daily disposable contact lenses and a hub for developing advanced technologies, is seeking a Technical Service Technician.

You will help keep production equipment running smoothly by performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to support quality targets. The ideal candidate has a NITEC in Engineering, can read electrical and mechanical diagrams, is willing to work 12-hour shifts with overtime,

Qualifications

• Must have NITEC in Engineering.
• Able to read electrical and mechanical diagrams.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts with overtime.
• Able to lift 10–15 kg.
• Willing to work in a controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment to meet target production schedule and output.
• Provide technical support in troubleshooting equipment to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Perform daily, monthly preventive maintenance activities to ensure reliability and efficiency of equipment.
• Actively participate in workplace safety and quality improvement projects.
