This role bridges internal engineering teams with external clients, overseeing end-to-end delivery of complex, high-precision projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The candidate should bring strong project management capabilities and solid technical knowledge, with hands-on CNC machining, CAD/CAM proficiency, and excellent communication to coordinate across NPI,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Precision Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in programme or project engineering roles within precision engineering or manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with CNC machining, CAD/CAM software, and high-precision measurement tools is advantageous.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets across multiple precision engineering programmes.
• Collaborate with NPI, manufacturing, and quality assurance to meet milestones and objectives.
• Identify and resolve technical and logistical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Apply technical knowledge across precision engineering processes including CNC machining, micro-fabrication, and metrology.
• Oversee prototype development and assess manufacturability of product designs.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for high-precision components and systems.
• Ensure compliance with quality and tolerance standards in precision engineering.
• Coordinate and oversee testing, validation, and inspection processes for components and assemblies.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams on technical matters.
• Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
