THUNDER MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS ASIA PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a proactive PR/Communications professional to support research, brainstorm pitches, and craft compelling materials for clients. You will build media and influencer lists, handle inquiries, monitor coverage, and nurture media relationships.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in PR/Media, English fluency, strong writing and research skills, and the ability to multitask under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree or post-graduate degree in PR, Political Science, Media/Communication or equivalent.
• Fluent in English; additional language a plus.
• Knowledge and interest in Communications and Public Affairs.
• Proficient with MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support research and brainstorm for new business pitches and existing clients.
• Assist in writing and distributing pitch letters, news releases, backgrounders, bios, newsletters, reports and other communications material.
• Create and maintain media / influencer lists.
• Handle routine media / influencer inquiries.
• Monitor media to report coverage affecting the client's business.
• Develop relationships with media / influencer to convey the client's message.
• Proactively identify media / influencer opportunities.
• Develop understanding of the client's business and industry through basic research.
• May coordinate events and promotions under supervisor guidance.
• Assist in vendor/partner management and ensure quality of delivery.
• Assist in account administration duties such as billing and activity reports.
