Job summary

Schneider Electric in Singapore seeks a Service Project Team Manager to lead a team of Project Engineers and Project Managers, ensuring safe, timely, and profitable service project execution. You will govern projects, manage resources, and drive governance through the Service Operations framework with SOC involvement.

The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Power Systems, Service Operations, Project Management, or related industrial sectors.
• At least 3-5 years of leadership experience managing project teams.
• Proven track record in managing medium to large-scale service/projects and customer-facing operations.
• Experience in power distribution, critical power, protection systems, substations, switchgear, or related power infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and governance.
• Experience managing project portfolios and resource allocation.
• Familiarity with SGV & SAP experience preferred; strong financial acumen including revenue forecasting, margin management, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Service Project Engineers and Project Managers.
• Establish clear performance expectations and development plans for team members.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
• Support resource planning and workload balancing across the project portfolio.
• Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one discussions to monitor progress and address challenges.
• Drive project execution discipline with regular reviews, risk management, and stakeholder collaboration.
• Review KPIs, financial performance, resource utilization, milestones, and customer commitments.
• Escalate risks and issues and implement mitigation plans; ensure proper close-out and lessons learned.
