Job summary

Schneider Electric in Singapore is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead the technical content of integrated projects, coordinate a diverse design team, and ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE and local standards.

You will act as the single point of contact for customers, manage risks, champion quality processes, and drive design, testing, and FAT activities across global sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years in leading technical scope of projects in Power System or Electrical Distribution System application.
• Experience in one or several engineering domains: Power, Automation & Software, Telecom & IT, Cyber Security, Mechanical & HVAC, Structural.
• Ability to read and understand applicable standards.
• Ability to coach others and collaborate efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead the basic and detailed design of all technical aspects of an integrated solution in line with customer and contract requirements.
• Ensure project technical team delivers according to the project planning and monitor costs.
• Coordinate technical implementation activities at factories or supplier premises until project closure.
• Act as single point of contact for all project stakeholders regarding technical content.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and coordinate subcontracted parts of the project.
