Job summary

Public Service Division within the Power System Operation Division (PSOD) in Singapore seeks an applicant to support 24/7 monitoring of the electricity market, dispatch of generation, and transmission system reliability.

You will prepare reports, compile data for analysis, coordinate with power stations on dispatch, and contribute to power system simulation studies. Shift duties are required; collaboration within the team is essential.

Qualifications

• Education in Power Engineering is preferred.
• Relevant work experience in the power sector would be an advantage.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Candidate is required to perform shift duty.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Control Manager in the realtime (24x7) monitoring of the electricity market, generation dispatch and transmission system to ensure the secure and reliable operation of the power system.
• Prepare advisory notices/reports for publication in the Electricity Market.
• Compile operational data for analysis.
• Coordinate with power stations on generation dispatch and assist the Control Manager to perform power system simulation studies.
