Job description

To assist the Control Manager in the realtime (24x7) monitoring of the electricity market, generation dispatch and transmission system to ensure the secure and reliable operationofthe power system. Duties include:

i. Preparation of advisory notices/ reports for publication in the Electricity Market;

ii. Compilation of operational data for analysis;

iii. Coordinating with power stations on generation dispatch, and

iv. Assisting the Control Manager to perform power system simulation studies.
