Job summary
Recruit Expert Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer in Singapore to design and deliver power systems and protection schemes for transmission and distribution projects.
You will translate customer requirements into SLDs, schematics, GA drawings, BOMs and technical specifications, while coordinating with regional stakeholders. The role requires strong hands-on design experience with transformers, MV/LV switchgear and prefabricated substations, plus familiarity with
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant electrical design experience in power systems/T&D.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power & Distribution Transformers, MV/LV Switchgears and Prefabricated Substations.
- Good knowledge of electrical design principles, standards and documentation; experience using AutoCAD, EPLAN or ETAP.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver electrical engineering designs for power transmission and distribution projects (SLDs, schematics, GA drawings, BOMs, specs).
- Review customer requirements and tender specs and translate into suitable electrical designs.
- Lead technical coordination with customers, internal teams and regional stakeholders to address interfaces and deliverables.
- Provide technical support during FAT, SAT, testing and commissioning; troubleshoot engineering issues.
- Contribute to value engineering, standards and continuous improvement of electrical solutions; travel regionally as needed.
