Zusammenfassung

JTC Corporation is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to act as a client representative for building and infrastructure projects, coordinating with EMA and SP PowerGrid to plan high- and medium-voltage networks for JTC industrial estates.

You will formulate consultancy briefs, manage and review electrical designs, perform calculations, cost estimates, and value engineering, while ensuring compliance with local regulations and codes across multi-agency collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• Background in Electrical or Power Engineering with 2–3 years of relevant consultancy/design experience.
• PEB registration would be an advantage.
• Certifications such as Design for Safety Professional, Green Mark, and Building Construction certifications advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder coordination.
• Self-driven and dynamic approach to project management.

Aufgaben

• Formulate project briefs for consultancy tenders and manage consultants.
• Review electrical designs for subsystems, calculations, specifications, drawings, material submissions, and M&E cost estimates.
• Conduct value engineering and cost-benefit analyses using engineering software.
• Coordinate with agencies and forecast power demand; plan network upgrades and substations.
• Represent JTC in agency committees and effectively communicate engineering concepts.
