Job summary

Search Staffing Pte Ltd partners with a globally recognised Taiwanese technology company to advance power management research. The role focuses on control systems for power converters and energy systems, with hands-on hardware integration and embedded implementation.

You will contribute to literature reviews, model and simulate advanced control strategies, and document findings through reports and design guides. All experience levels are welcome, from graduates to seasoned professionals.

Qualifications

PhD or Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronic / Control Engineering or related field.
Strong experience with control theory, digital control and signal processing.
Understanding of power electronic architectures (AC/DC, DC/AC, DC/DC) and control methods.
Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, embedded software (C/C++), architecture design and version control.
Solid understanding of microcontroller architectures, sensors and communication protocols.
Hands-on prototyping and testing with oscilloscopes and power analysers.
Experience with simulation tools (MATLAB, Simulink, Python, LTspice).
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Open to all experience levels, from graduates to seasoned professionals.

Responsibilities

Review literature to explore existing and future control systems.
Identify problems or market gaps to guide further work.
Design, model and simulate advanced control algorithms for power electronics and energy systems.
Implement control software on embedded platforms (DSPs, MCUs, FPGAs).
Integrate real-time diagnostics and control loops with sensors and actuators in hardware.
Prepare research reports, design guides and performance reports.
