Job summary

The Laboratory of Skin Stem Cell Dynamics at A*STAR Skin Research Labs (SRL) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow to advance understanding of epidermal and hair follicle stem cell dynamics in mouse models and human organoid systems.

The role emphasizes experimental design, grant writing, publishing, and mentorship, with access to cutting-edge technologies and strong institutional support.

Qualifications

• PhD in Life Sciences or related field is required.
• Strong background in cell/molecular biology, biochemistry and stem cell biology.
• Experience with omics, bioinformatics and/or mouse models is advantageous.
• Peer-reviewed publications with at least one first-author paper.
• Excellent written and oral communication, independent and collaborative work.

Responsibilities

• Lead, design and perform experiments with mouse models, human cells and omics.
• Apply for individual research grants as part of career development.
• Present findings at seminars and conferences.
• Publish manuscripts and contribute to writing efforts.
• Mentor students, interns and technicians in the lab.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team to advance science.
