The role focuses on experimental research in quantum magnets and proximity effects in 2D heterostructures, using advanced nanofabrication and cryogenic transport techniques. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a closely related field and strong expertise in 2D heterostructure fabrication and spintronics, supported by excellent

Qualifications

• PhD in experimental physics, materials science, electrical engineering, or closely related field.
• Expertise in 2D heterostructure fabrication.
• Strong background in spintronics, magnetism and spin-dependent transport phenomena.
• Proven ability to conduct independent experimental research and to interpret results at a high scientific level.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Device fabrication and experimental measurements.
• Data analysis and interpretation of experimental results.
• Active intellectual contribution to ongoing and future projects in quantum magnetism and related proximity effects.
• Work with state-of-the-art nanofabrication facilities, cryogenic systems and high-magnetic-field environments.
