Job summary

CINTRA, a French-Singaporean joint research laboratory hosted at NTU Singapore, invites applications for a Research Fellow to advance the preparation and fundamental characterization of 2D ferroelectric materials and devices.

You will work on device fabrication, polarization measurements (PFM, P-E loops), and publish results while mentoring undergraduates and assisting with proposals.

Qualifications

• PhD in Electronics, Materials Science and Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• At least 2 years hands-on experience with 2D ferroelectric materials characterization and device fabrication.
• Strong publications in 2D ferroelectric materials and devices.
• Familiarity with lithography, 2D materials transfer, and PFM characterization.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Meticulous and data-driven.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D ferroelectric materials.
• Characterize ferroelectric polarization using methods like PFM and P-E loop tests.
• Confirm polarization switching with electrical pulses.
• Demonstrate reconfigurable photoresponsivity of samples.
• Fabricate and test devices based on 2D ferroelectric materials.
• Collect and analyze results.
• Draft manuscripts and project reports.
• Mentor undergraduates or master students on the project.
• Assist the PI in drafting new research proposals.
