Job summary

Carta in Singapore is seeking a motivated Fund Tax professional to join our Fund Administration team. You will support FATCA/CRS tax documentation validation, preparation and filing of annual reports, and help clients stay compliant across multiple jurisdictions.

This role emphasizes data accuracy, client service, and cross‑functional collaboration with compliance, sales and product teams to streamline internal processes and scale operations in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field.
• 3–4 years of FATCA/CRS tax documentation experience.
• Experience filing FATCA/CRS across multiple jurisdictions.
• Willingness to learn AI/automation to optimise workflows.

You will have the opportunity to support the administration of funds, investment vehicles and develop systems and innovative solutions to streamline internal processes. You will be working alongside the most talented fund managers and dealmakers in the world and will help them realize their ambitions of supporting the companies of tomorrow.

You will be working on specific projects and initiatives across the business, ensuring that deliverables are met on time and customers remain compliant with regulations. You will also be collaborating with the fund administration, compliance, sales and product teams on relevant issues related to our products and services.

About You

We are looking for a self‑motivated individual who is enthusiastic and has a keen interest in solving problems.

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or related fields
• 3-4 years of hands‑on experience in FATCA/CRS tax documentation validation, preparation and filing of annual reports.
• Familiarity with preparing and submissions of FATCA and CRS filling obligations across Singapore, Malaysia, Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, Abu Dhabi and Australia.
• Guide and/or assist clients with GIIN applications and registrations on local tax authority portals for FATCA and CRS purposes.
• Stay current with evolving FATCA/CRS regulations, including CRS 2.0, and their impact on reporting and due diligence obligations.
• Eager to step beyond the core tax domain and actively learn complementary operational functions.
• Possess a forward‑thinking mindset with a keen interest in leveraging AI, automation to optimize workflows and scale processes.
• Detail-Oriented with strong analytical skills
• Excited and have experience working in fast paced environments

• Strong prioritization skills and can manage competing demands while persevering to solve challenging problems
