Job summary

Government Technology Agency (GovTech) in Singapore leads policy and regulatory development for submarine cables within the Policy, Regulation & Competition Development (PRCD) Group. Qualifications

Background in Economics, Public Policy, Engineering, or Business.
Minimum 2 years of experience.
Prior experience in the infocomm industry or regulatory frameworks is an advantage.

Good stakeholder engagement skills.
Good presentation and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

Policy review of submarine cable matters.
Operationalise and implement submarine cable policy frameworks, including land/sea resource evaluations for landing and licensing.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for resource planning and submarine cables landings.
Support evaluation of submarine cable licence applications with local agencies.
Evaluate international policies and engage counterparts to develop norms for deployment, protection, maintenance and repairs.
