Job summary

YEW SENG HENG M&E ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager in coordinating contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of plumbing & sanitary construction on site.

The role supports planning, monitoring, and updating schedules, while ensuring works meet drawings, specs, and regulatory standards. A candidate with 2–3 years of relevant experience and BIM Revit skills will fit well in a fast-paced site environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience managing plumbing & sanitary construction projects.
• Valid Plumber License is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in coordinating contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support planning, monitoring, and updating of project schedules in line with the main contractor's master programme.
• Monitor site progress and assist in ensuring works are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Ensure site works follow the latest approved drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and coordinate project drawings, submissions, RFIs, and documentation.
• Assist in contract administration including EOT, VO, claims, and progress payments.
• Verify subcontractors' work progress and claims.
• Support site safety compliance and PPE enforcement with safety officers.
• Prepare progress reports, maintain project records, and highlight risks or issues to the Project Manager.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Management.
