Job summary

YEW SENG HENG ENGINEERING PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a capable Project Coordinator/Engineer to assist the Project Manager in coordinating contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution on plumbing and sanitary works.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering and 2–3 years of relevant experience, with preference for a Plumber License, PUB code familiarity, BIM Revit and Autodesk proficiency, and a Singapore Class 3

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience managing plumbing & sanitary construction projects.
• Plumber License (preferred).
• Familiar with PUB's codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Experience with BIM Revit and Autodesk software preferred.
• Singapore Class 3 driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in coordinating contractors, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Support planning, monitoring and updating project schedules.
• Monitor site progress to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with required quality.
• Ensure site works follow approved drawings, specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and coordinate project drawings, submissions, RFIs and documentation.
• Assist in contract administration including EOT, variations, claims, and progress payments.
• Verify subcontractors' work progress and claims.
• Support site safety compliance and PPE enforcement with safety officers.
• Prepare progress reports and highlight risks to the Project Manager.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
