Job summary

ENGGSOL PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an hands-on engineer to design, implement, test, and commission PLC/SCADA systems across client sites. You will read schematics, perform hardware and software integration, and support FAT/SAT activities to ensure successful project delivery.

The role requires driving the engineering lifecycle, producing technical documentation, and interfacing with customers and internal teams to meet project schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, plans, and technical drawings.
• PLC & SCADA engineering support.
• Hardware and software integration.
• System testing and commissioning.
• Troubleshooting and technical problem solving.
• Configuration and documentation management.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed engineering design, prototype development, testing, commissioning, and handover of completed PLC/SCADA systems.
• Coordinate with customers and internal project teams to ensure effective planning, smooth execution, and adherence to project schedules.
• Support and participate in FAT and SAT at both company premises and customer sites.
• Perform hardware and software integration, including PLC programming, SCADA configuration, and system implementation.
• Carry out engineering, integration, and maintenance works in compliance with quality assurance and technical standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage application program changes, hardware deployment, configuration updates, and accurate maintenance of technical documentation.
• Implement PLC/SCADA systems from conceptual design through programming and deployment, under supervision where required.
• Interface with SCADA and PLC systems across different platforms and subsystems.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation, and support client meetings and technical discussions.
• Independently perform system troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and issue resolution during testing, commissioning, and operational support.
