Job summary
ST Engineering Urban Solutions Ltd. is seeking an engineer to contribute to detailed system design, prototyping, commissioning, and testing of industrial solutions at ST Engineering Electronics Hub in Singapore.
The role involves collaboration with customers, vendors, and project teams to meet delivery milestones. The incumbent will perform engineering drawings, document design work, and participate in factory and site tests, with a focus on reliability and timely problem resolution.
Qualifications
- Candidate holds a diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or related field.
- 1–2 years in a project environment with PLC/SCADA or industrial control RT systems.
- Familiarity with Modbus or similar industrial interfaces is preferred.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, plans and drawings.
Responsibilities
- Assist in system design, interface design, and engineering drawings.
- Write design documents and liaise with customers, vendors, and project teams.
- Support factory acceptance tests and site testing/commissioning activities.
- Participate in design meetings with customers and interfaces.
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with stakeholders as needed.
