Job summary

Willowglen Services Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to plan, coordinate and execute PLC/SCADA/RTU and industrial automation projects from engineering through commissioning and handover.

The role involves preparing engineering drawings, control philosophy, project submissions, PLC/RTU configuration, HMI development, system integration, testing and commissioning, while ensuring on-schedule delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Control & Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in PLC, SCADA, RTU or industrial automation projects.
• Good knowledge of PLC/HMI systems and industrial communication protocols such as DNP3 and Modbus.
• Able to read and understand P&IDs, electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Basic knowledge of industrial networking and Windows systems.
• Good project coordination, communication, documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to perform site work and attend night/weekend shutdowns when required.
• Class 3/3A driving licence would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute PLC/SCADA/RTU and industrial automation projects from engineering through commissioning and handover.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, technical documents, control philosophy and project submissions.
• Perform PLC/RTU configuration, HMI development, system integration, testing and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within requirements.
• Manage site installation, FAT/SAT, testing and commissioning, while ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements.
• Monitor project progress, costs and variations, and maintain proper project documentation and reports.
