Job summary
INTVER GLOBAL CONSULTING is seeking an engineer with hands-on PLC and HMI programming experience to work on control systems for automation applications at customer sites in Singapore.
You will develop software, analyse requirements, create electrical schematics, program PLCs/HMIs, test and debug, and coordinate with internal teams to meet schedules. Some travel and after-hours support may be required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in an engineering discipline.
- At least two years in automation or semiconductors.
- Strong PLC and HMI programming skills; Omron, Mitsubishi, and Pro-face preferred.
- Ability to read, design, and troubleshoot electrical schematics.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; good English.
- Willing to travel on short notice and provide after-hours support when required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve control software using a structured SDLC.
- Analyse requirements and prepare design specifications.
- Create and update electrical schematics; select components and BOM.
- Program PLCs and HMIs; implement systems and test.
- Perform basic electrical wiring and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain technical documentation and coordinate with teams.
- Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting at customer locations.
