Job summary

Recruit Expert Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Automation/Controls Engineer to support development and deployment of automation systems in line with project requirements.

You will design, program, test, and troubleshoot PLCs and related software, ensuring reliable machine operation and timely delivery. Collaboration with project, process, mechanical and electrical teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Automation/Mechatronics/Controls Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in controls or automation engineering.
• Proficient in PLC programming; familiarity with Allen-Bradley and Siemens S7/TIA Portal; basic C# or VB programming.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of industrial automation and control systems per project requirements.
• Assist in preparing and updating electrical/control documentation to standards and procedures.
• Develop and troubleshoot control programs to ensure reliable machine operation and project delivery.
• Participate in system testing, FAT and SAT, coordinating with engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to track progress and meet timelines.
