Job summary

Dada Consultants PTE. LTD. is partnering with a technology company to recruit a reliability engineer focused on production systems. The role emphasizes ownership of operational functions, incident response, capacity planning, and automation to improve stability in large-scale, consumer-facing platforms.

The candidate will collaborate with backend and platform engineers in a fast-moving, reliability-critical environment, supporting global production systems and driving cost-efficient improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Shell scripting to independently build tools.
• Solid experience with cloud infrastructure; exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid environments is a plus.
• Strong fundamentals in Linux systems, networking, load balancing, and high-availability/disaster recovery design.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability and reliability of production systems supporting large-scale online services.
• Own core operational functions including resource management, incident response, capacity planning, monitoring, and reliability improvements.
• Review system and infrastructure designs, proactively identifying reliability and scalability risks.
• Analyze system bottlenecks and lead optimization initiatives to improve stability and cost efficiency.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations, respond to production incidents, and drive root-cause analysis.
• Continuously improve operational processes through automation, reducing manual intervention and overhead.
