Job summary

The role involves migrating/upgrading EAI platforms, configuring in Development/UAT and Production, maintaining MFT and API Gateway, monitoring health, ensuring security, and collaborating with application and infra teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS services setup and administration.
• Familiarity with integration middleware and API gateways.
• Knowledge of MFT/SFTP and secure data transmission.
• Experience with monitoring tools (OpsMon, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Understanding of IT security policies and governance.

Responsibilities

• Support migration and upgrade of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) platforms to ensure seamless system integration and minimal downtime
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot integration platforms in Development/UAT and Production environments to maintain operational stability
• Maintain MFT and API Gateway platforms to support secure data exchange
• Monitor platform health and performance metrics to proactively identify and resolve issues
• Ensure platform security and governance compliance
• Provide operational support and incident resolution to minimize service disruptions
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure teams and vendors on platform-related activities
• Apply backend scripting to automate tasks and enhance platform functionality
• Perform Linux/Unix or Windows server administration to maintain platforms
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform system administration to ensure reliability
• Apply understanding of integration concepts to optimize configurations
• Utilize REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, XML to support data exchange processes
• Follow production support processes to maintain service quality and compliance

Job Summary

The Platform Engineer (Enterprise Application Integration) manages and maintains integration platforms to enable seamless data exchange between internal systems and external partners, focusing on platform administration, support, troubleshooting, upgrades, and IT policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support migration and upgrade of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) platforms to ensure seamless system integration and minimal downtime
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot integration platforms in Non-Production (Development/UAT) and Production environments to maintain operational stability
• Maintain Managed File Transfer (MFT) and API Gateway platforms to support secure and efficient data exchange
• Monitor platform health and performance metrics to proactively identify and resolve issues
• Ensure platform compliance with IT security and governance policies to uphold organizational standards
• Provide operational support and incident resolution to minimize service disruptions
• Collaborate closely with application teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors to coordinate platform-related activities and improvements
• Apply backend scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java) to automate tasks and enhance platform functionality
• Perform Linux/Unix or Windows server administration to maintain platform environments
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform system administration to ensure platform reliability
• Apply understanding of application integration concepts to optimize platform configurations and workflows
• Utilize knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and XML to support integration and data exchange processes
• Follow production support and operational processes to maintain service quality and compliance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in AWS services setup and administration or equivalent cloud platforms to enhance platform scalability and resilience
• Familiarity with integration middleware to support complex system interactions
• Knowledge of API Gateway platforms to manage and secure APIs effectively
• Experience with file transfer platforms such as SFTP/MFT to ensure secure data transmission
• Proficiency with monitoring tools like OpsMon, Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus to analyze platform performance and logs
• Understanding of Singapore Government IM8 ICT security policies or equivalent to align with regulatory requirements

Other Information

• Work Week: Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
• Work Arrangement: Full Onsite - Central Region
• Salary: S$5,500-S$8,000 (with bonuses - varies)
