Job summary

BGC Group Pte Ltd is hiring a Platform Engineer (EAI) in Singapore to manage Enterprise Application Integration platforms and support data exchange across systems. The role covers platform administration, middleware operations, and cloud-related tasks in a large-scale environment.

The candidate will handle migration, upgrades, and configuration, ensure API gateways and file transfer systems run reliably, and contribute to ongoing improvements and governance across production and non-production

Job Highlights

Contract Duration: 24 Months Contract
Salary: Up to $8,000/month
Location: Bukit Merah / Depot Road, Singapore

Work Hours

• Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 6:00pm
• Weekends & Public Holidays: Off

Key Responsibilities

Platform Administration & Support

• Support the migration, upgrade, configuration, administration, and maintenance of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) platforms.
• Ensure the smooth operation of file transfer platforms, API gateways, and other integration solutions across non-production and production environments.
• Perform system troubleshooting and resolve platform-related issues to maintain service reliability.

Integration & Middleware Operations

• Support enterprise-wide data exchange services between internal systems and external entities.
• Ensure integration platforms are operating efficiently and meeting business requirements.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining backend platform services and interfaces.

Infrastructure & Cloud Support

• Support platform deployments, upgrades, and system configurations.
• Assist with AWS services administration and cloud-based platform management where applicable.
• Monitor platform availability, performance, and capacity to ensure operational effectiveness.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure platform operations comply with IT security, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Support audits, reviews, and documentation activities related to platform operations.
• Adhere to established ICT policies, security standards, and operational procedures.

Incident Management & Continuous Improvement

• Investigate operational issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement corrective and preventive measures to improve platform stability and reliability.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiency enhancements.

Who We're Looking For

• Experience in platform administration, application support, or middleware technologies.
• Strong foundation in programming and/or scripting languages.
• Hands-on experience implementing, supporting, or maintaining backend applications and services.
• Understanding of integration technologies, API platforms, file transfer systems, or enterprise middleware solutions.
• Knowledge of IT operational processes and platform support best practices.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve technical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS services setup, administration, or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) platforms.
• Knowledge of API Gateway, Managed File Transfer (MFT), or related integration technologies.
• Familiarity with IM8 or equivalent ICT security and governance policies.
• Experience with monitoring and operational tools (OpsMon).
• Exposure to enterprise-scale or mission-critical environments.
