Job summary

Red Alpha Cybersecurity is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team in Singapore. You will build, automate, deploy, and maintain modern application and infrastructure platforms, working with software developers, infrastructure engineers, and security teams to deliver reliable, scalable services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering/IT.
• 5+ years of experience in software development or software engineering.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and version control concepts.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with Linux OS and CLI environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and automation practices.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Understanding of REST APIs and basic networking (DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-motivated to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support platform services using GitOps methodologies.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting and IaC.
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery processes.
• Manage deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
• Support containerized workloads and orchestration platforms.
• Implement and maintain observability solutions including logging, metrics, and tracing.
• Participate in incident response, problem management, and continuous service improvement.
• Ensure platform security, compliance, and configuration standards are followed.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
