Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) is seeking a Process Engineer to advance manufacturing processes, boost production efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and ensure high product quality.

You will monitor process performance, lead trials, and implement new methods while driving waste reduction and cost savings across plastics compounding operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Polymer Science, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, RCA, and continuous improvement tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Optimise process parameters and production efficiency for plastics compounding.
• Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and support production scale-up.
• Investigate and resolve production and process-related issues.
• Conduct production trials and evaluate new processes before implementation.
• Support customer complaint investigations related to process issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams on new product transfers and process improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools, 5S, RCA, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Lead or participate in projects to improve productivity, reduce waste, minimise downtime, and lower production costs.
• Prepare reports and maintain process documentation.
