Job summary

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate workload for assembly and test operations.
• Ensure quality standards are met and staff awareness of quality requirements.
• Supervise and direct all reporting staff in the manufacturing department.
• Maximize output while minimizing operating costs via lean methods.
• Ensure safety training and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support production technically (internal and outsource).
• Develop and maintain standard manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Implement lean initiatives and world-class manufacturing practices.
• Apply statistical methods to estimate requirements and improvements; develop process flow and FMEA.
• Use root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 8D) to drive corrective actions.
