Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in electroplating sector; exposure to Silver Spot plating is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production scheduling.
• Evaluate and establish process parameters.
• Identify and eliminate sources of failure and to perfect functionality of products.
• Define process problems that lead to throughput or quality issues, evaluate cause of problem, implement solutions to stabilize processes, increase production output, reduce production cycle and enhance cost improvement.
• Investigate and implement solutions on process or material related problems.
• Develop and maintain proper job methods, work instructions, drawings, bill of material etc. for products.
• Execute productivity programmes such as process automation, tooling and fixture fabrication or improvement etc.
• Conduct training on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ensure manufacturing objectives are met and initiate continuous improvement activities on product quality, yields and technologies.
