Job summary

XIN HENG YUAN CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled plasterer to join our site team in Singapore. You will carry out plastering, cement rendering, and finishing works to meet project specifications and quality standards.

You must be able to prepare surfaces, mix materials, apply plaster, and finish walls and ceilings while adhering to safety guidelines and cooperating with supervisors and fellow workers.

Qualifications

• Experience in plastering, cement rendering or related construction work.
• Ability to perform plastering and finishing works independently.
• Familiar with basic construction tools and equipment.
• Able to work at construction sites and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Good understanding of workplace safety requirements.
• Able to work well with supervisors and other workers.
• Responsible, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Relevant qualifications or certificates in construction-related work will be an advantage.
• Applicants with relevant overseas or local construction experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering and cement rendering works at construction sites.
• Prepare and clean wall and ceiling surfaces before plastering.
• Mix and apply plaster, cement and mortar according to project requirements.
• Level, smooth and finish walls, ceilings and other surfaces.
• Repair cracks, uneven surfaces and damaged plastered areas.
• Perform patching, skim coating and other related finishing works.
• Use hand tools and construction equipment safely and properly.
• Follow project specifications, work instructions and construction site safety requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure work areas are kept clean and safe.
• Carry out other plastering and related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
