in Singapore is seeking a Technical Admin cum Maintenance Support to assist with troubleshooting systems and production equipment, coordinate maintenance with contractors, and manage documentation and inventory for plant tools and spares. The role requires at least 2 years in a plant operations environment, with a NITEC or higher in Mechanical/Electrical, and proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Professional Certificate, NITEC or Higher NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• At least 2 years of experience in a plant operations environment.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting systems and production equipment and carry out repairs under close supervision.
• Request components and supplies for projects and maintenance and obtain pricing and product information from vendors.
• Coordinate with external contractors for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work.
• Assist the Manager with document filing and inventory records for equipment, tools and spare parts.
• Maintain records for utility contracts, including cargo lifts, fire alarms, chillers, compressors and air-conditioning servicing.
• Carry out emergency repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during plant shutdowns.
• Identify safety issues and potential hazards to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and standards.
• Support the implementation of the company’s ISO certification programme.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
