Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is hiring a Plant Maintenance / Reliability Engineer for a pharma plant at TUAS. You will prioritize and coordinate daily maintenance and calibration tasks, allocate resources, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and alignment with the production schedule.

The role requires a engineering degree and 3+ years in a large Pharma/semiconductor environment, with strong knowledge of EAM/CMMS systems like Maximo and proficiency in Power BI and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant maintenance experience in pharma/chemical/semiconductor environments.
• Understanding of cleanroom maintenance is a plus.
• Experience with EAM/CMMS systems like Maximo.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and allocate maintenance and calibration activities; manage resources (people, tools, equipment).
• Engage internal and external stakeholders; align job priorities and track progress.
• Review maintenance plans ahead of due dates to prevent disruptions to the Business Plan.
• Present key maintenance indicators to Site Engineering Leadership Team with reporting and budgeting awareness.
• Manage maintenance assets, WOs, documentation and MRO spares in EAM/CMMS to support activities.
• Develop asset maintenance job plans with safe, compliant procedures and resources.
• Analyze equipment uptime/downtime using KPIs; support C&Q during project phases.

Responsibilities:

• Daily and weekly prioritization of maintenance and calibration activities. Allocation of resources, both human and equipment for the right activity, to prevent 8 wastes of Lean Six Sigma (DOWNTIME). Continuously review and react to stakeholder feedback to improve schedule compliance.
• Acting as primary liaison for maintenance, engage both internal and external stakeholders to align job priorities and keep them updated on the progress. Ensure Concurrent Activities (SIMOPs) are identified early and propose resolutions to prevent cost and schedule impact.
• Review maintenance and calibration activities regularly and ahead of their scheduled due date to ensure no interruptions to Business Plan.
• Prepare and present key maintenance indicators plan vs result to Site Engineering Leadership Team (SELT). Provide scheduling rules, accurate reporting, resource planning to ensure Maintenance budget prudence by demonstrating financial responsibility on cost performance expectations.
• Manage maintenance assets, work orders, documentation and MRO spare parts within Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) to support maintenance and calibration activities.
• Responsible to manage maintenance job plans' lifecycle with adequate instruction on procedure considering safety precautions, quality compliance, special permit requirement, special tools requirement, materials, resource loading, spare parts and pre- maintenance equipment decontamination or cleanup/disposal to ensure maximum asset availability and reliability.
• Responsible for gathering and analyzing metrics on equipment uptime/downtime by employing key performance indicators.
• During Project phase, support Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q).
• Perform any other duties assigned by immediate manager.

Job requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or other related majors with more than 3 years of relevant work experience in large pharmaceutical, petrochemical or semiconductor environment.
• Understanding of Cleanroom maintenance philosophy will be an advantage for this role.
• Good knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system setup such as Maximo or similar CMMS database will be an advantage for this role.
• Must be proficient in Office software, Power BI and able to review technical plans, engineering drawings and in reviewing equipment technical negotiation contracts.
• Have participated/led annual shutdown maintenance and understand the concepts of Ramp Up/Ramp Down strategy.
• Must have experience in general facilities, utilities and process equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Must possess good organizational management skillset, communication and coordination skills, and have a strong team spirit.
