Job summary

CHINA HARBOUR (SINGAPORE) ENGINEERING COMPANY PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler for our Singapore office, focusing on detailed planning and schedule control for civil construction projects.

You will develop baselines, monitor progress, coordinate resources, and report milestones. Familiarity with Primavera P6 and MS Project is essential, with site data collection and stakeholder communication forming part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• Minimum 5 years of planning and scheduling experience in construction, preferably with a main contractor.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and lifecycle.
• Experience with high-rise buildings, infrastructure or large civil projects is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction regulations and safety requirements.

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
• Establish baseline schedules and monitor progress against these benchmarks.

Resource Management：

• Coordinate with project managers to determine resource requirements and ensure optimal allocation.

Progress Monitoring：

• Track project progress and report on key milestones, delays, and resource utilization.
• Conduct regular site visits to gather data and assess the progress of construction activities.

Risk Management：

• Identify potential risks and delays in the project timeline, proposing solutions and mitigation strategies.
• Conduct impact analysis for changes in project scope or schedule, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders

Reporting and Documentation：

• Prepare and present progress reports, schedules, and forecasts to project management and stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation of schedule changes, delays, and mitigation measures taken

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant planning and scheduling experience in the construction industry, preferably with a main contractor.

• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

• Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and project lifecycle.

• Experience with high-rise buildings, infrastructure, or large-scale civil projects is advantageous.

Preferred Attributes:
