Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a manufacturing scheduling professional in Singapore to plan and control high‑complexity production lines, balancing business demands with material constraints.

You will own line configuration, slotting, and KPI delivery for OTD, EOP, and related metrics while coordinating with Product Support and Field teams to ensure smooth operations and capacity alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and control high-complexity manufacturing line scheduling, balancing demands and constraints.
  • Be responsible for on‑time delivery (OTD) of production outputs.
  • Own tool configuration and slotting; support NPMA approvals and allocations.
  • Design efficient line layouts to improve responsiveness and inventory control.
  • Track and drive line KPIs such as OTD, EOP, CT, and SOE.
  • Support capacity fulfillment and manage training period allocations.
  • Plan Field Support Activities and be the main contact to Product Support.
  • Coordinate manufacturing activities at field locations and determine capacity needs.
  • Manage retrofit projects and plan Home Tools support activities.
  • Coordinate with R&D and act as main contact to R&D teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and control high‑complexity manufacturing multiple line scheduling, considering business demands, manufacturing & material constraints.
  • Responsible for line OTD.
  • Own tool configuration & slotting. Responsible for NPMA (Non Pure Manufacturing Activities) approval and allocation.
  • Responsible for efficient line design in terms of responsiveness, inventory & linear workload.
  • Control line performances while driving for line KPIs improvement: OTD, EOP, CT, SOE.
  • Control & support manufacturing capacity fulfillment. Manage training period allocation.
  • Plan Field Support Activities.
  • Be main contact to Product Support teams.
  • Plan manufacturing activities at the field.
  • Determine manufacturing needed capacity.
  • Manage retrofit projects.
  • Plan Home Tools support activities.
  • Manage R&D needs.
  • Be main contact to R&D teams.
  • Manage Option build plan cycle.
